Australian Melanie Perkins, Founder and CEO of Canva created the digital design platform in 2014 and had already become a billionaire by March 2020, props to her! She has since doubled her wealth, crediting an enormous increase in users as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

So - what is Canva? Canva is an online design tool where you can use basic design skills to create anything from blog headers, as above, to social media imagery, newsletters, presentations, campaigns, charts. It is only limited by your imagination.

Templates! If you are a novice designer you can use templates to create eye catching imagery very quickly.
Stickers! Using moving stickers can turn a simple image for social into a more appealing scroll stopper.
Brand Kits! You can upload your brand colours, fonts and logos to Canva where it is kept to easily pull from when you are mid design.
Stock Imagery! Canva has a huge library of stock to use with a fantastic search function.
You don't have to be a fancy pants designer to succeed with Canva. However, I do believe that not all Canva users create eye catching content and it does pay to think creatively about what you are trying to create, manipulate templates, be brave and start from a blank background.
